Solo Ad marketing Pros and Cons

3d man and question wordsIn my last article, I mentioned a few more places to find solo ad marketing services. You can find pretty good service if you know where to look. Now that you are considering this method of advertising, there are pros and cons. Take a look below.

Pro: Your website will get more traffic.

With Solo ad marketing traffic is steady and can reap really good results. The key is consistency. Marketing your website everyday can help your website gain recognition. Having repeat customers couldn’t hurt either.

Con: Most of the time the traffic is not targeted.

While you are getting traffic, the traffic is not targeted. Why? You are using a super solo network like the ones I mentioned in my last two articles. Or, you are using a solo ad provider without targeted mailing lists.

Pro: You are sending offers to potential buyers.

Your ad is going to an audience that is willing to buy your offer if it’s something they need. You won’t have to worry about people complaining and reporting you for spam (just for sending). You have their permission to send them offers.

Con: Your message has the potential to be flagged for spam.

Depending the words and phrases you use, the spam filters will be triggered. For example, using the words “For Just $”, “Only $” can trigger the spam filters to block your message.

Pro: Solo ad marketing is one of the most effective methods of advertising.

You can reap good results from a steady flow of traffic to your website product or service. When you combine solo ad marketing to other methods you will see some growth. As long as you are constant in your methods your website will gain the recognition it needs.

Con: Solo Ad Marketing can be expensive if you don’t know where to shop.

Plenty of websites offer solo ad marketing. The method can be expensive if you don’t shop around. You can get solo advertising for a very steep price or you can get it free. It’s up to you.
